Ski Helmet

The freestyle ski aerial athlete Alexandra Bär is the sister of a very close friend of mine. Her family approached me with the exciting idea of designing a helmet for her competitions. After discussing we got some of their preferences and ideas. I first designed a T-shirt for a family event, which they really liked. Later on, they came back to me and asked for a helmet in the same style.

Since their surname is «Bär», I incorporated a teddy bear motif into the design. To ensure the bear looked youthful and edgy, I utilized a graffiti-inspired style. Snowflakes were also added to reflect Alexandra's passion for winter sports and skiing, emphasizing that winter is truly her element.

Seeing one of my designs featured on television (SRF) was an incredibly cool and rewarding experience.
